We are situated in a quiet location on the grounds of the Tallinn University of Technology, near a pine forest. A combination of excellent sporting facilities, academic opportunities and businesses is available nearby.

UNIVERSITY, LIBRARY AND MUSEUM

Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) main building, study buildings and library are located near the hostel. The library is open for everyone, and it can be visited with a one-time visitor card.

The TUT museum offers exciting and educational pastime opportunities for adults and kids alike. The museum awaits everyone to come and see its interactive and fascinating exhibitions.

SCIENCE AND BUSINESS

Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol, a home for start-ups and growing technology-based companies, is just a couple hundred metres from the hostel.

SPORT

The Nõmme Sports Centre, where it is possible to swim (outdoor pool and barrel saunas), play beach volleyball and football, visit the gym and saunas, is about a 10-minute walk away. In winter, it is possible to use college paper examples illuminated ski tracks, go sledding and ice-skating.

The Nõmme Adventure Park, the biggest in Northern Estonia, is also located nearby and offers excitement for the more daring and disc golf for beginners as well as professionals.

The TUT Sports Hall is nearby: different sport events are held there and you have the opportunity to practice a variety of sports.

WHERE TO EAT

A number of restaurants and cafes can be found just a couple of minutes’ walk away from the Academic Hostel and you can have a good time with friends and enjoy good food there.
